Cookies
The full list, not a summary. Strictly necessary cookies are set because the site cannot work without them. Everything else waits for you to say yes.
Last updated 26 September 2026
These keep you signed in, keep your basket and seat holds intact through checkout, and remember the cookie choice you already made. They are set without consent because the law allows it for storage you have asked for by using the site — and turning them off would mean you could not book.
| Name | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
sports_customer_session | Keeps you signed in to your account. Server-only (HttpOnly), so page scripts cannot read it. | 30 days |
sports_customer_signed_in | A readable hint that a session exists, so the header can show your account without waiting on the server. | 30 days |
sb-<project ref>-auth-token | Trade portal and staff pages only. Keeps you signed in; a long sign-in is split into parts ending .0, .1, and asking for a password reset adds one ending -code-verifier. | 400 days |
sports_trade_application | Saves a part-finished trade account application so you can come back to it. | 30 days |
ttp-sports-site-basket-v1 local storage | Holds the tickets in your basket, so they are still there when you come back. | Until you empty your basket |
ttp-sports-site-trade-basket-v1 local storage | Trade portal only. Holds the tickets an agent has added to a booking that is not yet placed. | Until you empty your basket |
se-checkout-draft-v2 session storage | Keeps what you have typed into the checkout form so a refresh does not lose it, and is cleared when you go on to pay. | Until the tab closes |
se-cookie-consent-v1 local storage | Records the cookie choices you made on this banner, so we stop asking. | 12 months |
se_own_event_buyer | Set when you start paying for tickets to an event we sell ourselves. Marks your checkout as yours, so starting again for the same tickets replaces your earlier checkout instead of holding seats twice. Random, holds no details about you, and is sent only to that checkout (HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it). | 24 hours |
se-payment-context-v1 session storage | Carries the payment context through the checkout steps so a refresh does not lose your place. | Until the tab closes |
se-trade-payment-context-v1 session storage | The same thing, for a trade account paying a booking's net by card rather than on account. | Until the tab closes |
se-confirmed-session-v1 session storage | Remembers which payment has already emptied your basket, so returning to the confirmation page cannot empty a new one. | Until the tab closes |
__stripe_mid | Set by Stripe, which takes our card payments, only on the screens where you pay by card. Helps Stripe spot fraudulent payments. | 1 year |
__stripe_sid | The same thing, for Stripe's fraud checks within a single visit. | 30 minutes |
ttp-sports-agent-show-nett local storage | Trade portal only. Remembers whether you have hidden your agency's cost prices, so the screen comes back the way you left it. It holds that choice and nothing else — no prices are stored. | Until you change it |
Google Analytics, and only if you agree. It tells us which fixtures people look at and where checkout loses them. Decline and none of these are set — we use Google Consent Mode, so the tag itself is held in a denied state rather than merely hidden.
| Name | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics. Distinguishes one browser from another so visits are not double counted. | 24 months |
_ga_3L5PGP39VG | Google Analytics. Keeps the state of your visit for this specific site. | 24 months |
se-analytics-once:… session storage | Stops a sale being counted twice in Google Analytics when the confirmation page reloads. | Until the tab closes |
Off unless you turn it on. When you do, advertising storage and personalisation are enabled so we can measure whether an advert led to a booking. Decline and no advertising cookie is set at all.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and it takes effect immediately. Your booking is unaffected either way.
You can also clear cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and empty your basket, because those rely on the strictly necessary cookies above.
How we handle personal data generally is in our privacy notice.
